Terms and Conditions

1. Scope of application

These terms and conditions apply to all purchases made via FishRingQuilts.com including downloadable products (PDF patterns), online courses and workshops, and physical courses and workshops held on location. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

2. Product Description

We sell both digital and physical services. Digital products include downloadable PDF patterns and access to online workshops and courses. Physical services include in-person workshops and courses. No physical goods are shipped unless explicitly stated.

3. Delivery of Digital Products

Digital products are delivered immediately upon successful payment, either via download link or email. Access to online courses may be provided through a login or emailed access code.

4. Right of Withdrawal (Digital Products)

Under EU law, digital content delivered immediately after purchase is exempt from the right of withdrawal, provided the buyer has consented to the immediate delivery and waived the right to cancel.

By completing your order, you explicitly agree to immediate delivery and waive your right to a 14-day cancellation period for digital products.

For customers outside the EU, such as the United States, digital product purchases are considered final and non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

5. Payment

Payments must be made in advance using the available payment methods on the webshop. Orders are only confirmed after successful payment.

6. Intellectual Property & Usage Rights

All digital content is protected by copyright. The purchased products are for personal use only. Reproduction, distribution, resale, or commercial use without prior written permission is strictly prohibited.

Workshops based on copyrighted patterns (e.g., byAnnie) require each participant to purchase their own licensed copy.

7. Prices and Taxes

All prices are stated in euros and VAT is included.

Fish Ring quilts may offer discounts or promotional pricing for a limited time. Once a promotion or offer has expired, Fish Ring Quilts is under no obligation to honour the promotional conditions or pricing.

8. Liability

Fish Ring Quilts is not liable for any damage, loss, or consequences arising from the use of patterns, course content, or attending a workshop. While we strive to provide accurate information, use is at your own risk.

9. Complaints and Support

If you experience any issues with your purchase, please contact us through the contact form. We aim to respond within two working days.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.

11. Physical Workshops

11.1 Registration

A seat in the workshop is only confirmed after full payment. You will receive a confirmation email with details.

11.2 Cancellation by Participant

• Up to 14 days before the workshop: full refund
• 7–13 days before: 50% refund
• Less than 7 days before: no refund
  However, you may send a substitute participant. Please notify us in advance.

11.3 Cancellation by Organizer

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a workshop due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. illness, insufficient enrollment). In such cases, you may choose a full refund or transfer your registration to a new date.

11.4 Participant Responsibility

You are responsible for bringing your own materials, tools, and sewing machine unless stated otherwise. We are not responsible for personal items during workshops.

11.5 Access and Safety

Entering the workshop location is at your own risk. Please take necessary precautions with your materials, tools, and personal safety. We are not responsible for accidents or damage occurring on the premises.
