Based in the Netherlands, Fish Ring Quilts is a small creative studio founded by Cindy Vissering—a passionate designer, teacher, and lifelong learner.
“Quilting is my happy place. It brings calm and clarity to my day, giving me the space to reflect while creating something beautiful. I’ve explored countless techniques over the years, and what excites me most is that there’s always something new to discover. It’s a joy and a privilege to share that excitement with others.”
Cindy originally trained as an architect and worked in the field for seven years before moving into a knowledge center in the building industry. There, she shared her expertise on construction, materials, and design through writing, workshops, and courses.
Now, she brings that same passion for teaching and design into the world of quilting—combining her technical background with creativity to support others on their own quilting adventures.
